We are partnering with a global leader in industrial vacuum technology to identify a Regional Sales Manager for their California territory. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with direct ownership of revenue growth across a well-established customer base.
About the Company
A privately held, family-owned manufacturer with over 60 years of history and operations in more than 40 countries. Their product portfolio includes vacuum pumps, blowers, compressors, and custom vacuum systems serving industries such as food packaging, chemicals, plastics, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductor manufacturing.
The Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing existing accounts across California. You will serve as the primary commercial contact for end users, OEMs, and distributors, delivering engineered vacuum solutions tailored to customer applications.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow revenue across the California territory through direct sales and distributor management
- Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on account penetration and new logo acquisition
- Conduct technical sales presentations and application-based consultations with end users and engineers
- Collaborate with internal application engineers and service teams to deliver customer solutions
- Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate forecasting through CRM discipline
- Represent the company at regional trade shows, industry events, and customer sites
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in vacuum, compressed air, fluid handling, or related industrial equipment
- Proven track record of territory growth and new business development
- Technically proficient — comfortable discussing pump technology, system specifications, and application requirements
- Familiarity with manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or semiconductor end markets preferred
- Based in California with ability to travel extensively throughout the territory
