Our client, a well-established and highly respected General Contractor, is looking for an experienced field leader to oversee the interior construction of a luxury multifamily development in Aventura, Florida.

The Role

As the Interior Superintendent, you will take ownership of all interior construction activities, managing the project from layout through final punch and turnover. You'll be responsible for driving schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance while ensuring exceptional finishes and a seamless handover to ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all interior construction activities from layout, framing, drywall, MEP rough-in, finishes, and final punch.
• Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules to maintain project milestones.
• Coordinate all interior trades including drywall, framing, insulation, MEP, flooring, ceilings, millwork, painting, tile, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor productivity, workmanship, and quality standards.
• Ensure subcontractors perform work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with local authorities.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality.
• Manage RFIs, field coordination, and communication with the Project Manager and design team.
• Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor walkthroughs.
• Manage punch lists through final completion and turnover.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as an Interior Superintendent on multifamily or condominium projects.
• Experience delivering projects from interior layout through certificate of occupancy.
• Strong understanding of interior sequencing, finishes, and quality control.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong knowledge of South Florida building codes and inspection processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
