Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager with a strong background in corporate interiors and some experience managing ground-up construction projects would be an advantage. Based in the dynamic New York metropolitan area, this role involves leading complex, high-profile projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, timelines, and teams while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out for corporate interior fit-outs and ground-up projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with client goals, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Budget & Schedule Management:
• Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with all project participants to ensure successful delivery.
• Technical Oversight:
• Review and approve project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
• Team Management:
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the project team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in project management, specifically within corporate interiors and ground-up construction.
• Demonstrated success managing projects in the New York metropolitan area is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
