Position Overview:

Our Client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale multifamily high-rise construction projects in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, high-value (minimum $150M) projects of 25+ floors, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strategic leadership, exceptional coordination, and a deep understanding of Miami’s construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of multifamily high-rise projects (25+ floors, $150M+ value), from preconstruction planning to project closeout.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and Miami-Dade County building codes.
• Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, AutoCAD) to streamline communication, documentation, and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks, such as material delays, labor shortages, or permitting challenges, common in Miami’s fast-paced market.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and client satisfaction.
• Navigate Miami’s regulatory environment, including permitting and inspections, to ensure compliance and project success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Minimum 5 years as a Senior Project Manager for a general contractor, overseeing end-to-end project execution.
• Experience managing multifamily high-rise projects (25+ floors) with a minimum construction value of $150 million each.
• Proven expertise in managing budgets, schedules, and teams for high-rise residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies specific to high-rise multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Miami-Dade County building codes, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP, LEED AP) and a valid contractor’s license preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
