Assistant Project Manager

Description:

Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in commercial office fit outs to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in delivering high-quality, on-time and on-budget projects. They will work closely with the project team to coordinate all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in the delivery of commercial office fit out projects from inception to completion.
• Work with the project team to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage procurement and purchasing of materials and equipment.
• Assist in the management of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor progress and prepare progress reports for the Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all project specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 years of experience in commercial office fit out project management.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of construction industry best practices and regulations.
