Senior Project Manager - Luxury High Rise

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale high-rise construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams on vertical projects.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of high-rise construction projects (typically 20+ stories)
• Oversee project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and change management
• Manage master schedules and coordinate sequencing for vertical construction
• Direct project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and inspectors
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts and scopes of work
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and QA/QC procedures
• Drive project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience
• Proven high-rise experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Proficiency in project management and cost control systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• High-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial towers
• Self-perform concrete or major concrete subcontractor experience
• Experience working in urban, high-density environments
• Familiarity with South Florida or major metropolitan markets (a plus)
