MEP Superintendent – High-Rise Residential Construction
📍 North Miami, FL
💰 $130,000 – $160,000 Base Salary + 20% Bonus
We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join a leading General Contractor specializing in high-rise residential construction in the North Miami market. This role will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Life Safety scopes for a large-scale multifamily development, ensuring quality execution, schedule adherence, and coordination across all trades.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all MEP field operations for high-rise residential projects from preconstruction through turnover.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, commissioning, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules.
- Work closely with Project Management, Structural, and Interior teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings with MEP subcontractors and consultants.
- Monitor installation quality, code compliance, safety standards, and project documentation.
- Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule impacts.
- Support commissioning, testing, startup, and final closeout activities.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent on high-rise residential or large commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
- Experience managing MEP scopes on ground-up multifamily towers preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Strong field coordination and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling platforms is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000
