Position: Estimator

Location: Hallandale, FL (Office-based)

Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator with at least 8 years of experience as estimator in the construction industry, specifically within Broward County. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have a strong background in commercial and residential projects, interior buildouts, and preconstruction services, including preparing Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process from concept to final proposal.
• Prepare accurate GMP cost estimates and budgets.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare bids.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers during preconstruction.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing.
• Provide value-engineering options to keep projects within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proven experience in Broward County projects.
• Background in both commercial and residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of interior buildouts and preconstruction processes.
• Hands-on experience with GMP contracts.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
